Mid-Month Card Bossy! (Leah Hall)

Ok.... so here is your mid-month CARD Bossy Scrapper.... FUN right?!!!!

Please meet Leah:

Hello fellow Scrappers!   My name is Leah & although I’m fairly new to the scrapping scene, I’ve been bit by the bug – bad! I really enjoy making cards more than layouts – although I’ve ventured out into the layout land recently (and with my English Bulldog named Semper Fido & my Pug/Bulldog mix Mable, there’s never a shortage of subjects to scrap!) The best thing about making cards is that I can share them with friends and family or give sets of them as homemade gifts!

My best friend Jamie is the one responsible for getting me into this hobby (she was the guest designer for April’s bossy). I enjoy spending my time making a mess in her craft room until the wee hours of the morning since we live about a mile from each other.

I sure hope you’ll enjoy putting this bossy together – can’t wait to see what you come up with!

May's Mid-month Card Bossy Requirements:
1) Repeating Pattern Background
2) Chipboard or Die Cut
3) Stamp
4) Washi Border
5) 2 different alphas (in different colors too)
6) A sentiment or phrase

Here is what Leah came up with:
SO.... let's see what you create with it....

April's Bossy - Guest Designer Jamie Striplin

Ok crafty people, here is your April's Bossy Scrapper brought to us by Jamie Striplin.
I have known Jamie for 3 or 4 years when she came to a crafty girls weekend retreat! She is such a fun girl and is so stinken talented!

Here is a little bit about Jamie:

Hi, my name is Jamie. I live in Tacoma, WA with my husband, Dustin, two cats, and one naughty dog. I am happiest when doing something crafty and have been that way for as long as I can remember. I first started scrapbooking a little over ten years ago. I had been a fan of the magazine art collage, so I was pretty thrilled to find this hobby with pretty paper, embellishments, and letter stickers! I also love: thrifting and going to estate sales, Dave Matthews Band, diet coke, eating good food and drinking good beer, and totally getting sucked into a good book. Thanks for letting me play! I can't wait to see your creations!

Here is her April Bossy list:
1. cluster of photos
2. something with grid pattern
3. stitching
4. banner or flag
5. ink drops/misting
6. bling (brad, sequin, rhinestone, enamel dot, etc...)
7. kraft element
8. date stamp or calendar

And what she created!

Here's what you do now.... Go play in your craft area and get to work on this project (keep in mind it can be a card too!). Post your finished project in the comment section of this post, or on our facebook page!

We can't wait to see what you create!

March Bossy Scrapper

Whew.... Where did February go????

It FLEW by in the blink of an eye. Crazy that we are already at March but you know what that means... A NEW BOSSY SCRAPPER. What a better way to get your mojo flowin' and to kick start a new month of scrappin.

This months Bossy is brought you us by Aimee Westcott. I have known Aimee for about 6 years, having met her through some other scrappin friends/scrappin website. She is amazingly talented and so fun to be around.

Here is a bit about her:

Howdy. I'm Aimee. I love creative and artistic outlets, namely scrapbooking, cooking, and photography. On nice days I can be found in my garden, usually covered in dirt.  I'm a self proclaimed foodie and love to cook and bake. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, I've developed a real love for the beauty of Washington state. If I'm not in the garden, its likely I'll be strapping on my pack and trucking up a mountain somewhere. I have a very tiny little obsession with Dave Matthews Band. I may or may not have seen Dave and the Band in concert over 25 times. Thanks for letting my share my art. Happy Bossing!

Here is her Bossy for March:
The list o' ingredients:
1. Feather
2. glitter element
3. hand written journaling in a bright color
4. Use a Symbol
5. Staple something
6. something secret or hidden (ie: journaling, extra pictures - like Aimee did)
7. Use an odd number of photos
8. Use a page protector with multiple sections (think project life - if you don't have any, you could always make your own with a sewing machine)

And what she created:
She totally rocked it!

Now I can't wait to get my hands on all those fun page protectors that I have to get busy with this months Bossy...
Now... GET CRAFTING!
